In order to deal with the shortage in energy using clean renewable energy, a highly efficient and economical solution is needed to meet consumer energy needs. To achieve that, a solar dish collector was established with some major modification in the collection of solar energy to decrease manufacturing cost and increase efficiency. In addition, the focal point of the system was modified using an optical system to establish greater light concentration. This was done using a series of tests, on the different optical assemblies, which affected the performance, efficiency, durability, and cost of the system. Finally, an optical assembly that was used has shown that it can reduce the shadow on the primary mirror, decrease the manufacturing cost of the structure, and increase the efficiency of the system.
