Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) has been recognized as one of most promising technologies for automotive and stationary power generations. In this paper, a mathematical model was developed to analyze the water motions in the flow channels of PEMFCs. The two phase gas/liquid flow was simulated with different gas velocities, and the numerical results of this mathematical model have shown that the motions of the interfacial flow are related to Weber numbers of system as well as characteristics of graphite bipolar plates and the gas diffusion layers of the PEMFCs.
