To obtain solar energy, parabolic mirrors are used which have the property, to concentrate on a spot zone. In this case it is transformed by a Stirling engine into electrical energy. This will examine, first, the kind of plate that is best suited to obtain better results, and other influences such as the geometric accuracy of the same thermal efficiency, with respect to the theoretical. This is intended for “scales” or elements of simple geometry, which optimize the prices of manufacturing, maintenance and guidance. This paper is a preliminary analysis to be able to develop a prototype to experiment with obtaining this type of energy.
