The present paper is a continuation of a previous work [1] tackling the analysis of floating ring annular seals. A quasi-analytic solution of the floating ring motion was developed in [1] but its stability was not addressed. This stability problem of the floating ring driven by the uniform circular precession of the rotor is answered in the present work.
