The present paper is a continuation of a previous work  tackling the analysis of floating ring annular seals. A quasi-analytic solution of the floating ring motion was developed in  but its stability was not addressed. This stability problem of the floating ring driven by the uniform circular precession of the rotor is answered in the present work.
