Catastrophic surface failures encountered in many engineering components are usually associated with contact status. For plastic medium contact status depends on the history of plastic deformation, loading path. Although many papers have contributed to contact analyses [1, 2, 3], but in most papers, effects of loading path on contact status for plastic medium have not been included yet. The aim of this study is to illustrate how loading path influences contact status.
