Based on the iterative finite difference algorithm developed by authors, distributions of gas pressure are calculated. Four flying static characteristics: the gas floating force, the pitch moment, the maximum pressure and minimum pressure under the influence of three important flying parameters: the minimum film height, the pitch angle and the disk velocity are numerically investigated. The results show that with decrease of the minimum film height and the pitch angle, the stiffness of the gas film becomes more rigid. After the disk velocity reaches in an appropriate speed, its role becomes more significant on the gas floating force.
