The behavior of the liquid-like adsorbed film on two types of air bearing surface with three dimension geometry was investigated by using the pumping effect with the Langmuir adsorption. The results shows that the contaminant tends to accumulate on the recession area of the air bearing surface. The viscosity of the adsorbed film will change the adsorbed film thickness distribution greatly.
