Beyond RAM: What’s It Worth? When Do We Do It?

Generating facility maintenance strategies are under various stresses. Identifying new strategies is generally easy but determining which strategies, if any, will pay is not. Once strategies that will pay have been identified, how much they pay is often a function of when they are implemented. This paper will briefly discuss ways to measure and manage the present and future risk associated with power plant equipment.
