Abstract
In this paper, an optimum design method based on orthogonal tables is applied to the design of a spatial 7R homokinetic linkage. An optimum design problem is first formulated; then, an optimum design, with a coefficient of speed fluctuation δ < 2.52%, has been achieved, as reported here.
