Abstract

A rapid design prototyping facility comprising of table top CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, CAD/CAM workstations and an injection molding machine has been established at the Ohio State University. Interactive tutorials have been developed for helping the users to learn the details of the machines and the software programs. The tutorials have successfully improved the learning efficiencies of the students and reduced the training costs for instructors. This paper presents an overview of the tutorials.
