Abstract

The seismic performance of a nuclear safety grade Electric heater is analyzed based on the workbench software. The stress load application method of explosion-proof electric heater in nuclear power plant under shutdown earthquake is proposed, the natural frequency and the stress analysis under Safe Shutdown Earthquake load is carried out. The overall and connecting bolt stress evaluation of air duct explosion-proof electric heater shall be carried out according to relevant sections of ASME and Nb standards. The results show that the stress distribution does not exceed the stress limit value that the Electric heater can bear, that is to say, the designed Electric heater meets the design specifications and meets the working conditions. The results of this paper provide a reference for the seismic analysis and further structural optimization design of the nuclear safety Electric heater.
