During heating and cooling operation of CPR1000, there are many complicated manual operations which need operator strictly following the regulation. With the development of automatic technology, some manual operations during heating and cooling process can be replaced by automatic control system. A control system satisfying automatic heating and cooling from RHR connected state to hot shutdown state is designed in this paper. The pressure and temperature of the primary and secondary loop during heating and cooling process is the key parameters adjusted to make sure the plant operating in the allowed area. The control system is modeled by the thermal hydraulic code and the process is simulated. The results show the control system is reasonable and feasible, which can be adopted in the function upgrading of current operating units or the new design. This system can reduce the workload of operator effectively and benefits the unit from malfunction caused by manual operation.
