Core barrel and core shroud are important equipment in reactor. During reactor operation, there should be a portion of fluid flowing between core barrel (CB) and core shroud (CS). And the by-pass flow share should be limited. So there are several by-pass flow holes on the bottom of CS, which should ensure by-pass flow share meet the requirements. Through test and theory analysis for the holes and resistance in this paper, obtain the relationship of holes dimension and resistance, calculate by-pass flow share of actual reactor, to verify the design meet the requirements and provide support for the following reactor design.
