Commonly two phase flow instabilities always occur in such multi-channel systems as nuclear reactor or steam generator. In this paper, the instabilities occurring in a system with four paralleled channels are investigated under forced flow condition. The system code Relap5 is used to simulate the phenomena in the system. The results show that the system may experience different types of flow oscillation with the increase of heating power uniformly. It is revealed that the thermal hydraulic parameter change dramatically in given channel during the oscillation. Three different heating cases are simulated and studied. The effect of inlet throttling on the stability is also studied and the difference of each channel is analyzed.
