Flow distribution at core inlet is an important criteria of reactor hydraulic performance, affected by flow distribution device. Compared with the Generation II PWR, the AP1000 flow distribution device has a great changed, it depends on the flow skirt. In order to strengthen understanding of flow field, obtain the flow distribution at core inlet, and find the key factor which influences the flow distribution, this paper establishes a whole 3D hydraulic model and studies flow field and flow distribution based on CFX.
