Global Codes and Standards Harmonization is fast becoming a cornerstone of the Nuclear Renaissance and an important tool for successful nuclear projects. Together with material and construction improvements, Global Harmonization helps ensure projects are cost effective and can be executed with the quality necessary to ensure protection of the public health and safety, and the environment. Therefore, in these difficult economic times, and to help guarantee the continuation of a successful Global Nuclear Renaissance, we should evaluate and consider methods to maximize organizational strengths and productivity while streamlining operational control to ensure project and operational costs and schedule are efficient and meet stakeholder expectations.
