The influence of thermal neutron scattering data of LiF and BeF2 (also known as Flibe) on physics was investigated in molten salt reactor. From the phonon spectra calculated by CASTEP, the thermal neutron scattering sub-library was evaluated with LEAPR module of NJOY. ACE format data was produced by NJOY subsequently. Finally, the effect of thermal neutron scattering of Flibe on keff and spectrum were investigated. Result shows that thermal neutron scattering have an obvious effect on keff and spectrum. The keff would decrease and spectra would be hardened because of up-scattering.
