3D cylinder reactor core neutron space time kinetics is simulated with an improved quasi static method in HTR. Macro cross sections used in this model are calculated from a fitting equation, and thus can reflect the reactor core state and make the model related with reactor thermal hydraulics. The control rods in the reactor are replaced with an equivalent absorber due to the feature of the control rods in the high temperature gas cooled reactor. In the end of the article, a simple simulating result by this model is shown. It is concluded that the established real-time calculation model for the reactor physics meets the design requirements.
