The heat transferring characteristics of corrugated tubes were investigated experimentally, with the water as cool media inside the tubes and vapor as hot media outside the tubes. The heat transferring coefficient was measured within the Reynolds Number from 1800 to 24000 and a correlation formula was obtained. It was shown that the heat transferring characteristics of corrugated tubes are better than corresponding smooth tubes and the heat transferring coefficient is about 3 times greater than that of the smooth tubes. The heat transferring characteristics are not sensitive to the contour tolerance of the corrugated tubes.
