A nuclear detection spectroscopy amplifier, with professional properties was designed, constracted and compared with an ORTEC amplifier in a spectroscopy system at the nuclear lab. Its performance had a good compatibility compared to the ORTEC model 570 amplifier and even more efficent in the taken counts. This paper discusses the steps in the design and construction of this instrument.
