Regulatory Aspects

On the 19^th of July 2001, the Belgian government approved a draft royal decree laying down new general regulations for the protection of workers, the public and the environment against the hazards of ionising radiation. The decree was signed by the King on the 20^th of July and subsequently published in the Official Journal on the 30^th of August 2001. The new regulations entered into force on the first of September 2001. They replace the Royal Decree of the 28^th of February 1963.
