Abstract
Two years after the Topseal conference, which took place in Antwerp, some 80 kilometres from here, Belgium has again the honour to welcome the international community of experts in charge of radioactive waste management, at a major conference on the same topic. This simply reflects the active involvement of the different Belgian institutions and societies in the research, development and implementation of solutions for radioactive waste.
