An experimental investigation was conducted to visually observe the freezing characteristics of bio-solutions. The evolution of the crystals growth was discussed under different conditions. In the nets dipping in the salt solution, the growing direction and speed of crystals were partly influenced by the grid wires. When the concentration of solutions in the front area of the interface was changed, the interface would be greatly influenced, or the freezing characteristics in this area would be totally altered.
