The fusion of a wankel engine and a fuel cell gives a wonderful new dimension. The net output given by the engine is both mechanical and electrical. The requirement of an engine is paramount which voids the conversion of mechanical power to electrical power, due to the losses in energy. It would be thrilling to note that a major space occupier and trouble maker like a battery can be done away with. When compared to an IC engine the power given by this engine is large and with hydrogen being used as the fuel, it turns into a zero emission engine. The vibration factor is also cut down, as a Wankel engine has far less number of moving parts when compared to an IC engine.
