This research is devoted to an increase in the accuracy of propeller flowmeters. Achievement of this goal solved a number of problems. These include the following: • development of a detailed multi-parametrical mathematical model that considers many influences; • investigation of propeller flowmeter behavior in the dynamic mode at propeller acceleration from the condition of rest and its sudden retardation; • study of propeller flowmeters in the static mode. The analysis of the influence of physical properties of measured liquids and flowmeter geometrical parameters on the static characteristics; • development of the algorithms and programs of mathematical modeling; • development of the algorithm and program of optimization for design of a propeller flowmeter; • verification of obtained results.
