A Method of Aerodynamic Design of Blades in Quasi-Three-Dimensional Calculation of Turbomachine

On the basis of the series expansion method on a selected stream line, the problem, in which the profile thickness is automatically adjusted by computer in aerodynamic design of blades for quasi-three-dimensional calculation, is solved. A special inverse problem is formulated in which the shape of mean stream line and the circumferential thickness distribution of profile are given. Six radial sections of a turbine blade are designed by this method.
