This paper describes the configuration and some programming techniques of real-time digital simulator of jet engines, along with some comparisons between the simulation test results and actual engine test data. The simulator consists of a mini-computer with memory capacity of 8192 words and an add time of 1.92 μsec, CRT display, A-D, D-A converters and other peripherals. The programming of digital computer is aimed at high flexibility to the change of simulated engine forms and rapid convergence of the matching calculation among engine components.
