Impeller is the key component of centrifugal compressor, which affects the operating efficiency and safety of centrifugal compressor greatly with its manufacturing level. This paper presents some key manufacturing technique issues on integrated milling of shrouded impeller, which relates to the following: determination of machinability of the shrouded impeller flow passage by checking visibility of intersecting line position of blades with disk & shroud; increasing of cutting system rigidity by machining region dividing; increasing of flow passage roughing efficiency by combination of plunge & side roughing; achieving the shortest tool length and maximum tool rigidity by determination of optimal tool orientation; etc. And the proposed methods have been applied in programming and machining process and have been verified successfully.
