A mean-line approach has been applied to evaluate characteristics of a two-stage supersonic ejector operating at a gas turbine-driven compression unit. One-dimensional concept of calculating flow parameters in the nozzle, mixing chamber, and supersonic diffuser of the ejector is based on isentropic relationships. In the current study, a set of empiric corrections is being used to account for losses. Ejector operating and performance maps are generated defining motive pressure range that satisfies a range of suction pressure values and the corresponding maximum suction flow rates.
