The presented work is concerned with the development of a very small aero-engine with 100 N thrust. First a commercially available 30 N-model jet engine was studied on a test bench. Based on the measurements, a calculation procedure was built to represent the measurements. Then the calculation was scaled to 100 N thrust. The scaled engine was designed in a 3D-CAD system, in which the stress analysis of selected parts, mainly the turbine wheel were performed. After the engine parts were manufactured and assembled, the new aero-engine was tested on the test bench as comparison with the predicted values.
