PDF Approach for the Collision Modeling in Binary Mixture of Particles

The purpose of the paper is to introduce the formalism of the joint fluid-particle PDF approach for polydisperse gas-particle flow and to focus on the derivation of the collision terms. The originality of this work is that our model takes into account the correlation between colliding particles and also the effect of a large drift. A discussion is performed on the model.
