According to Reynolds Average N-S Equation enclosed by standard k-ε turbulence model on the basis of pressure-velocity correction equation established with pressure-velocity connection algorithm SIMPLEC, numerical simulation for the three-dimensional incompressible turbulence flow of the double suction pump was carried out in this paper and then the distribution of axial velocity and static pressure within the tip clearance was obtained. The results indicate that the leakage flow and the secondary backflow, which occurs at some special regions, are observed obviously.
