A vacuum ejector driven by the air is used for handling the products in industries. The flow field in the ejector is tiny and its flow pattern very complicated, and moreover the main jet is supersonic and noisy. In this paper, the flow field is analyzed using the method of water table analogy and the results are compared with the numerical simulation. Additionally, the similarity is discussed, of the flow in the ejector with that in the channel with an abrupt area enlargement.
