The neuromuscular dynamics affect the response and stability of the driver-vehicle system. This paper addresses the most recent findings on driver steering neuromuscular properties, both for two-wheeled vehicles and four-wheeled vehicles. An analysis of the effect of neuromuscular dynamics on the stability of the driver-vehicle system is included.
