The processing of citrus fruits is a vast and important part of the Florida citrus economy today. This industry has grown to such proportions that more than half of the Florida orange and grapefruit crop is now processed. The principal and primary products that result from the processing of this huge quantity of fruit are canned single strength juice, frozen and hot pack concentrated citrus juices, and canned citrus section.
